Dr. Julieann Murella is one of our resident physicians and is currently accepting new clients. Being a Naturopathic Physician, East Asian Medicine practitioner, and Acupuncturist, she combines both Eastern and Western Medicine approaches to her patient care. She is passionate about supporting and building upon a patient’s foundation of health by addressing diet, lifestyle, mental and physical health. She has received extensive training in physical and sports medicine and women’s health and fertility. As Co-Captain and member of the Bastyr University Sports Medicine club, she provided first aid and sports medicine at large sporting events such as the Seattle Marathon, the Emerald City Volleyball Tournament, the Gigantic Bike Festival, and the US Gaelic Football Olympics. She has worked with and has done numerous clinical rotations that focused on diabetes and cardiovascular health, women’s health and fertility, sports medicine and physical medicine, IV therapy, SIBO and gastrointestinal health, and naturopathic primary care.

With her background in biochemistry, she has a deeper understanding in supporting biochemical pathways in the body. She found naturopathic medicine at a community clinic as an AmeriCorps member. There she learned the need for preventative medicine in healthcare and sought to become a naturopathic physician addressing the root cause of a disease by providing holistic medicine.

In her free time, Julieann likes to play the ukulele, workout, play volleyball and basketball, hike, explore new restaurants, cook Filipino food, and sing karaoke.
